JOB REQUIREMENTS Education Must have Bachelor of Science degree and be a graduate from an approved school of Medical Technology. Must be registered as a medical technologist by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists or be registry eligible and fulfills Federal Register section 493.1495 personnel requirements. Experience Training accomplished in an approved school of medical technology desirable. Previous experience in a clinical laboratory desirable. Physical Normal hospital environment. Close eye work. Hearing within normal range. Exposure to biological and mechanical hazards. Operates various lab analyzers, centrifuges, microscopes, lab refrigerators and freezers, alarm systems, incubators, rotators, water baths, safety hoods, incinerators, PC’s, computer terminals and printer, telephone.
