Department : Optometry Clinic Salary : Commensurate with Experience/Education Description : Responsible for front desk operations, which include patient scheduling & registration, insurance/eligibility verifications, reminder calls, check in/out, collection of payments, and coverage of phone/fax lines. 1. Serve as first point of contact for patients, visitors, staff, students and faculty. 2. Answers questions and resolves moderate customer service concerns and refers more difficult issues to manager; adheres to department guidelines on referring patients/visitors to the appropriate area. 3. Provides excellent customer and patient services support by setting appointments and providing phone coverage. 4.
