Under the supervision of an experienced maintenance staff, the co-op maintenance tech will assist with a variety of tasks and learn essential skills to gain an understanding of how the building operates. This includes but not limited to:\r\n-\tAssisting with repairs, for example, patching, painting, and replacing items\r\n-\tAssisting with routine maintenance, for example, cleaning, dusting, and organizing the work area\r\n-\tAssisting with inspections, for example, routine inspections of the building and identifying potential problems\r\n-\tLearning about building systems, for example, operations of the building’s HVAC, plumbing, and electrical system\r\n-\tLearning about tools and equipment and how to use them safely and properly \r\n-\tLeaning communication and teamwork\r\n-\tOther duties the Maintenance Manger might assign
