Department Engineering & Campus Energy Category Engineering Job Type Full-Time Overview The Assistant Electrical Project Engineer will be involved in all aspects of electrical systems on campus from high-voltage 69 kV substation equipment to low-voltage 24 Vdc plant control systems. The assistant engineer will assist a senior engineer in managing electrical projects using campus design standards, industry codes and standards, power system analysis software, and project management budgeting/scheduling tools. In addition to project work, this position assists in field work to inspect/review large construction project activities, troubleshoot electrical equipment issues, manage equipment maintenance and repairs, and safely perform switching on high and low voltage equipment during routine and emergency operations.
