Job Overview The HR Generalist will assist the HR Manager in the administration and strategic support of HR processes, procedures, and systems. The HR Generalist will provide as back-up for the HR Manager supporting a 24/7 operation. Job Responsibilities Lead plant entry level and skilled hourly talent acquisition initiatives. Responsible for managing mid-level employee relations issues including but not limited to counseling, coaching, and corrective actions. Manage FMLA information including: forms, approval progress, return to work dates, time card updates, etc. and serve as first point of contact. Responsible for benefit updates including communicating employer response and follow-up, system audits, etc. Coordinate and facilitate a variety of employee meetings and engagement events.
