Job Summary :     Obtains appropriate echocardiographic images according to the Medical and Technical Directors and industry standards, including M-Mode, 2D, Doppler, Color flow Doppler, Strain, Transesophageal Echo, echo enhancement, and bubble studies. Covers on-call responsibilities and weekend rotations as defined by clinical location. Core Competencies:  The Cardiac Sonographer Staff will display and maintain competencies to perform all core competencies as defined by clinical location for the Echocardiography Lab, which may include transthoracic echocardiograms (TTE), Strain, ultrasound enhancing agents (UEA), bubble studies, routine transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE per protocol), and TEE cardioversion.
