*Job description* HAWK Contracting is a premier pavement marking and signage company that works on all levels of projects from streets, parking lots, schools, parking garages, hospital, airports and beyond. We are currently seeking an experienced Pavement Marking Tech (Striper) to join our team. *RESPONSIBILITIES* * Read and layout per blueprints * Prepare, clean, sweep, and layout work area * Stripe, paint and maintain lane lines, center lines, crosswalks, turn arrows, stop bars, railroad crossings, parking stalls, curbs, and other pavement markings * Operate a variety of equipment (including but not limited to striping vehicles, machinery, and forklifts) in the installation and maintenance of traffic control markings, including paint truck, thermoplastic applicators, paint stripers, and obliteration equipment. * Set up and remove construction signs and traffic control items at the job site. * Parking block installations- install using both handheld and motorized equipment...
