The purpose of this role is to be responsible for creating a Training atmosphere that supports the overall strategy, management, reduction of accident and injury rates and execution of safety related programs and behavior across the Enterprise. They will ensure compliance with all DOT required training and will remain current on ever-changing DOT regulations. This position will have oversight of all facilities at the Covenant Training Center, including the operation of Hogan Hall dorm. This position will work cross-functionally with Operations to create a culture of safety that focuses on the training and development of our drivers throughout the business unit. They will manage, select, and guide a team of safety professionals to ensure best in class safety training programs, processes and procedures are in place using data and creativity.
