POSITION SUMMARY The Electrical Estimator Water & Wastewater Construction is responsible for developing accurate, competitive estimates for electrical, instrumentation, and controls scopes on complex water and wastewater infrastructure projects across McCarthys national water portfolio. This role leads quantity takeoffs, cost modeling, and proposal development for both self-perform and subcontracted electrical work, partnering closely with preconstruction, project teams, and key trade partners to validate design assumptions, clarify scope, and manage risk. The Electrical Estimator provides early-phase pricing and value analysis to support CMAR/GMP development, participates in design reviews and constructability evaluations, and contributes to national best practices in electrical estimating for the Water/Wastewater Business Unit.
