Training is hands-on and includes both instruction and practical shop experience. In this role, the applicant will develop competency in the safe and proper use of automotive tools and equipment, including basic hand tools, diagnostic tools, mechanical equipment, and power tools. Exposure will also include specialized diagnostic and repair tools. Safety equipment and procedures are a core part of all training, including the use of safety glasses, gloves, and hearing protection in a professional shop environment.
