Apply GAAP controls to Plant financial operations to ensure adherence to internal controls (including SOX & other YFAI internal standards). Assist the organization to optimize profit and protect company assets by assessing financial risks and opportunities. Lead local Budgets and Forecasts & communicate results to the organization. Plan, monitor, and authorize capital expenditures for the plant; aligning investments with company strategies. Ensure property accounting SSC is recording write-offs, retirements, asset valuations and CIP accounts accurately on the plant ledger by monitoring for potential idle assets, or for assets to be put into production use.
