JOB SUMMARY: The Licensed PT Assistant is responsible for providing direct patient care as determined by Licensed PT, maintains records accurately reflecting patient care, and maintain high personal standards. ESSENTIAL DUTIES: 1. Adhere to Code of Ethics as outlined by the American Physical Therapy Association. 2. Provide direct patient care and therapeutic intervention per treatment plan developed by Licensed PT. 3. Have a good understanding of indications and contraindications of all modalities and procedures. 4. Be able to accurately take measurements and perform tests per the Licensed PT request. 5. Record patients progress and report any changes to the Licensed PT. 6. Provide physicians with patient’s progress notes as needed. 7. Participate in in-service and continuing education programs. 8.
