Position Title: Sterile Processing Tech - Student Only - Adult SPD - PRN Department: Adult Sterile Processing Job Description: While enrolled in school, the Sterile Processing Student PRN works under supervision to clean, decontaminate, assemble, package, and sterilize surgical instruments and reusable supply items. Essential Responsibilities: Responsibilities listed in this section are core to the position. Inability to perform these responsibilities with or without accommodation may result in disqualification from the position. Assembles and wraps instrument sets. Ensures proper use of sterilized sonic cleaners and other related equipment. Delivers surgical instruments on a timely basis.
