JOB SUMMARY
Under the supervision of the Medical-Surgical Director, Medical-Surgical Clinical Care Supervisor, and an RN, the Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides essential patient care to meet the personal, comfort, and rehabilitation needs of patients. Care delivery is conducted within the framework of the Wyoming Nurse Practice Act and the National Patient Safety Goals. CNAs are expected to uphold Campbell County Health’s mission, vision, and values while supporting department goals for care improvement.
The CNA assists with direct patient care activities, including dressing, bathing, feeding, and mobility support. Responsibilities also include collecting non-invasive body fluid specimens, gathering vital signs, and ensuring patient safety and comfort. CNAs support physicians and nursing staff with patient care as needed and maintain accurate documentation and records. Clear communication with patients, families, and care providers is essential.
