Description Qualis LLC is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to support the Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, AL. Our Structural & Mechanical Design and Analysis team is a high performing group executing challenging tasks for the insight, design, and analysis of the Space Launch System (SLS) ranging from large structural elements to payload attachment hardware. Our team is tasked with providing support for various other space related missions including the Human Landing Systems (HLS) and much more. This exciting work serves as critical steps in our mission of sending humans to the Moon, Mars and beyond. Essential Duties: Providing structural and mechanical design support for flight hardware including adapters and secondary structures, secondary payload support, thermal protection system, electrical interfaces, and isolation hardware between vehicle compartments.
