*Overview* We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our innovative engineering team. The ideal candidate will Design, develop, analyze, and optimize mechanical systems, devices, and processes that contribute to the efficiency, safety, and innovation of products and operations for personal and vehicle protection applications. This position’s primary objective is to help develop add on armor drawings and other mechanical items in support of ground military vehicles. * As part of the mechanical engineering design team, perform design tasks from armor panel layouts on military ground vehicles to detailed design of parts that support customer needs and design requirements. * Create level 2 and 3 drawings IAW ANSI Y14.5 standards, DOD-STD-100 and others as necessary. * Proficient at creating mechanical layouts and completing design studies/trades as required. * Familiar with weldments, ballistic plates and other mechanical part drawings is necessary.
