The Expanded Function Dental Assistant (EFDA) will work under the direct supervision of the Dental Director to provide direct dental care. This role involves providing high-quality dental care to a diverse patient population, including underserved and low-income communities. The EFDA will perform expanded duties within their scope of practice as allowed by state regulations, to support the dentist and improve patient care efficiency and outcomes.
