JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for coordinating procurement needs for the electrical and mechanical installation of the field team to ensure on time delivery of equipment and materials for project locations. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Reviews and processes material requests from field team. Coordinate equipment rentals, and other requests from field team. Ensure suppliers meet quality standards and delivery deadlines. Manage and monitor purchase orders, working in conjunction with purchasing team. Track shipments and resolve any issues that may arise during the procurement process. Monitor each project budget and alert team of any overages. Follow proper material ordering procedures. Maintain documentation and files according to procedures. Receive packing slips against purchase orders and invoices in QuickBooks. Anticipate and resolve problems as they arise.
