Purpose of the Position Leads an assigned team of hourly employees in plant shipping to achieve goals and problem solve while demonstrating a commitment to employee safety, teamwork, and ensuring proper communications to all team members. Second Shift: 3pm - 11:30pm or later To transfer product from inbound trucks to storage areas. ESSENTIAL POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES Stores product by product and lot number using an industrial forklift or hand lift. Works from written or verbal instructions. Operates forklift to pick up, move, place and position materials or products as required. Performs routine servicing of equipment such as fueling, and checking fluid levels and tires. Notifies the maintenance department of any major issues or repairs. Prepares inventory reports and paperwork , to monitor and account for inventory by lot and product number.
