JOB SUMMARY GMRE is currently recruiting for an Aircraft Sheet Metal Technician. This position is day shift and may be eligible for per-diem based on GSA.gov standards. Candidates must be willing to be located approximately 70% in Oklahoma City, OK and travel to Ogden, UT the other 30%. Candidate will be paid per diem while traveling away from home city (Oklahoma City, OK). The Aircraft Sheet Metal Technician will perform maintenance and modifications on assigned aircraft. ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The individual in this role will repair, fabricate, modify, reshape, and install aircraft sheet metal parts, items, and assemblies. Must have the ability to follow blueprints, measure for correct alignment, cut sheet metal to size, drill holes, fasten members together by bolting, riveting, glue etc. This work requires knowledge of sheet metal principles involved in aircraft and related equipment.
