JOB DESCRIPTION
The Foreman will be responsible for supervising and coordinating activities for a grading crew on varying heavy civil construction projects.
ACTIVITIES/TASKS/SCOPE
· Lead by example that safety is the number one priority.
· Supervises and coordinates activities of work crews engaged in activities relating to grading of a job site
· Ensure efficiency and quality work relating to grading
· Supervise, coordinate and schedule activities with other crews and contractors on a project
· Read specifications, such as blueprints, to determine construction requirements and procedure planning
· Inspect work progress, equipment or construction sites to verify safety, quality and specifications are met
· Locate, measure and mark site locations or placement of structures or equipment
· Coordinate work activities with other construction project activities
