JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Receives information from multiple sources for the department by answering the phone, responding to electronic communication, responding to questions, and relaying calls to various rehabilitation providers. Coordinates a daily schedule for multiple providers in multiple areas of the rehabilitation continuum. Registers patients and performs insurance verification. Assists the licensed rehabilitation provider with charging, crediting, and canceling of rehabilitation procedures in a timely manner. Assists in the tracking of rehabilitation operations for inpatient and outpatient tasks. Performs routine clerical duties. Processes paperwork and referrals and corresponds with key stakeholders to ensure the productive day to day operations of multiple rehabilitation providers in multiple rehabilitation service arenas.
