Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include the following and other duties may be assigned: Responsible for set up and operations as required by drawings to meet acceptable quality and productivity standards by either electric arc or automatic wire feed process Sets up equipment and welds parts, using arc, gas-shielded arc, submerged arc or gas welding equipment. Demonstrate soundness of weld joints while maintaining proper weld dimensions, heat and depth of weld to parts Shall be subject to radiography, dye penetrant inspection or bend tests Responsible for reading blue prints, handling materials and tools such as; tape measures, plasma cutter, cutting torches drill, bolts, clamps, etc. Inspects parts or completed units by using visual inspection, gages, tape measures, check fixtures, calipers, or other inspection equipment.
