Laboratory Research Technician Med-Pediatrics - Pennsylvania-Pittsburgh - (26001368) This position is for the Division of Infectious Diseases within the Department of Pediatrics. The research technician in the lab will have the opportunity to explore how the bacteria, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, establishes a home in the human host and make discoveries about how the bacteria interacts with host cells, membranes, and the immune system. They will work under a physician-scientist PI who has clinical expertise in infectious diseases. The research technician will learn new experimental techniques and will perform experiments that the PI desires to further the understanding of ventilator-associated infections in children.
