Position Summary: The Senior Economist, Global Indicators & Labor Markets will lead The Conference Board’s flagship global indicators program while also overseeing The Conference Board’s Labor Market Institute (LMI). This is a high-visibility, Member-facing role requiring comfort interacting with a C-suite audience, deep technical and analytical expertise, and strong communication skills to deliver trusted insights on global macroeconomic and labor market trends. The ideal candidate will manage and produce The Conference Board’s proprietary global leading, current, and lagging indicators; direct development of derivative data tools including recession probability and tracking models; and oversee the US CEO and Consumer Confidence indexes.
