Texas Biomed is searching for a Director, Security & Emergency Preparedness to direct and oversee Texas Biomedical Research Institute (Texas Biomed) and Southwest National Primate Research Center (SNPRC) security and emergency preparedness strategy and business plans, including the identification of protection and preparedness goals, and managing company objectives and metrics for a complex strategic enterprise-based security organization. The Role: • Execute security policies and procedures, monitoring practices, and mechanisms to mitigate enterprise security risks, while safeguarding the personal safety of employees, animal colonies and Texas Biomed critical infrastructure and assets. • Responsible for department strategy / direction and roadmap to ensure the security department’s mission and goals are met.
