The Opportunity Tetra Tech is looking for a full-time Biologis t to work in our Albuquerque, NM office. Position Summary In support of the Response, Assessment, and Evaluation Services (RAES) program, the selected candidate will: • Conduct field surveys to inventory and assess vegetation, wildlife, and wildlife habitat conditions primarily on or near the Navajo Nation. Possible surveys in other areas of the southwest or elsewhere in the country. • Provide environmental oversight and monitoring during construction to verify adherence to permit conditions, implementation of avoidance/mitigation measures, and to ensure habitat protection. • Assist in preparing biological assessments (BAs) and supporting documentation to ensure compliance with the Navajo Nation Department of Fish and Wildlife and other regulatory requirements.
