National Capitol Contracting Position Summary This is an ONSITE position located in Honolulu, HI. TS/SCI Clearance required. National Capitol Contracting is seeking a Data Scientist to support the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) and the Shipboard Maintenance Performance Group (SMPG) and help bring cutting edge data analytics to the Navy Fleet Shipyards. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Assist in the stand-up (both technical and functional) of the Data Analytics Lab located at NAVSEA Naval Shipyards, recommend software/hardware analytics and data management toolsets, and recommend functional responsibilities for the other SMDAL staff members. Assist in the development of data procedures and policies, govern data assets, and improve the quality and access to data across the organization.
