Minimum Requirements:
Current Virginia Pharmacist licensure required. Graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy with a Pharmacist degree. Pharm.D. preferred. Minimum three years' experience in hospital pharmacy preferred. Hospital setting experience required; no retail-only experience accepted. Experience with inpatient and outpatient authorization processes, managed care communications, and appeals preferred. Experience completing pre-certifications and re-certifications for inpatient and outpatient services preferred. Experience communicating with interdisciplinary teams, physicians for peer-to-peer reviews, and payers preferred. CPR certification preferred....
