Core4ce Device Fabrication and Electrical Characterization Scientist 1193-383
The successful candidate will research, fabricate, and characterize wide bandgap (WBG) and ultra-wide bandgap (UWBG) semiconductor devices for logic, power, and RF electronics operating in extreme temperature and radiation environments. This role combines cleanroom microfabrication, advanced electrical testing across temperature, and physics-based modeling to connect device behavior to material properties and defects.
Responsibilities:
Research and evaluate WBG/UWBG semiconductor materials and device concepts for logic, power, and RF applications in high-temperature and radiation environments.
Design and fabricate test structures and devices using microfabrication processes, including:
Photolithography (and/or e-beam as applicable)
Metallization and liftoff
Atomic layer deposition (ALD)
Reactive ion etching (RIE) / dry etch processing
