We are seeking a Quantum Physicist – System Modeling & Operation Optimization in our Broomfield, CO location to improve the operation and performance of next-generation QCCD trapped-ion quantum computers. Embedded within the system integration team, this physicist will combine a strong theoretical foundation in atomic physics and quantum computing with a practical understanding of experimental hardware. They will work daily with engineers, scientists, and system operators to interpret experimental data, develop and validate physical models, and translate their analysis into improvements in quantum operations.
