Speech Language Pathologist Reports To: DOR and Director Clinical Services Supervisory Responsibilities: None GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES: Plans and implements specific treatment programs for individual clients according to the principles and practices of speech therapy and according to the orders coordinated with a licensed physician. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. ESSENTIAL DUTIES ARE:  Appropriately evaluates (initially and periodically throughout care) client in areas of speech, both receptive and expressive and safe swallowing to assure support sufficient caloric intake, cognitive thought processing.  Develops and implements appropriate treatment programs to address problems identified; develops realistic personal goals with client; re-evaluates, sets new goals and adjusts treatment program accordingly.  Treats clients to develop or restore function and maintain maximum performance using exercises and modalities, per current professional theory...
