Summary GENERAL SUMMARY: Performs diagnostic ultrasound procedures under the supervision of a qualified physician. Uses ultrasound technology and techniques to assist in the diagnosis of patient medical problems for patients throughout the age continuum. PRINCIPAL JOB FUNCTIONS: 1. Commits to the mission, vision, and beliefs and consistently demonstrates our core values. 2. Performs ultrasound procedures to include abdominal, obstetrical, gynecological, neuro, small parts, breast, interventional, doppler and vascular, in accordance with established policies and procedures. 3. Uses sterile technique as required for invasive procedures. 4. Provides the reading physician with adequate diagnostic information necessary to generate final report; notifies physician if results require immediate attention. 5.
