Job Summary: The Specialty Pharmacy Technician-Liaison works alongside specialty clinicians to encourage patients to utilize Care New England (CNE) Pharmacy to fully benefit from its superior patient care services. They collaborate with the clinic staff to complete prior authorizations and obtain financial assistance for patients. They determine whether a patient is eligible to fill their prescriptions at the CNE Specialty Pharmacy and direct prescriptions to the pharmacy whenever possible. Duties & Responsibilities: Provides integrated support to patients and pharmacists by providing a "hands-on" approach to total quality patient care. Encourages patients of specialty clinics to utilize pharmacy to fully benefit from its superior patient care services. Seamlessly integrates with the clinic team (doctors, nurses, staff, etc.) to successfully serve patients both face-to-face and over the phone.
