Riverside University Health System-Medical Center (RUHS-MC) Food and Nutrition Services Department is seeking a qualified Cook for its Moreno Valley location. Candidates must possess a current Certified Food Handler Card from Riverside County or a Food Safety Manager Certificate. This position may occasionally require travel to the Riverside location based on departmental needs. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a kitchen environment and demonstrate strong knowledge of food preparation and safety standards. Under supervision, prepares, cooks, and serves food at a County operated facility; takes directions from superiors in the preparation, cooking, and serving of meals; and performs other related duties as required. The Cook is the journey level classification in the Cook series and reports to a supervisory or manager level position.
