Job Description Summary The Cook II is responsible for preparing meals for restaurant patrons. Employee must maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen and prep areas. Job Description Principle duties and responsibilities (Essential Functions) include: Key Job Functions Follow all restaurant recipes Use product according to guidelines Properly store and zone all food items Assist in preparing for inventory with daily walkthrough and maintaining walk-in & dry storage so that everything is "sheet to shelf" Maintaining system clipboards throughout the shift Maintain all quality standards at all times per checklist "clipboards" Be in proper uniform and properly groomed at all times Properly set up prep area according to guidelines Complete and properly store all daily prep according to zoning and rotation guidelines Maintain all cooking technique standards Communicate repair and maintenance needs to management Assist in menu development - New menu items...
