Reports to the Dietary Director: Full Pay Range: $17.00- $23.00 Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Maintain kitchen and cooking areas in a safe, orderly, clean, and sanitary manner. Prepare a variety of flavorful meals in large quantities while following portion control guidelines. Accurately prepare special diets as required. Record food temperatures for all meals. Prepare pureed foods as needed. Maintain quaternary solution in sanitizer buckets. Assist with serving meals and ensuring resident satisfaction. Clean cooking areas and serving carts after meal service. Report resident care concerns and potential issues to the Administrator and/or Director of Nursing. Participate in the orientation and ongoing training of dietary staff. Ensure food presentation is appealing to residents. Work collaboratively with personnel across all departments.
