Description: The Research Assistant/Associate will assist Staff Scientists, Postdocs and other members of the TB team with day to day tasks that may include performing research and data management. Our Ideal Candidate:  Conduct molecular biology experiments, including DNA/RNA isolation, PCR, and quantitative RT-PCR, and assist team members as needed. Perform immunology experiments, such as tissue culture, blood processing, and isolation of lymphocytes and macrophages. Description: The Sharan Lab at Texas Biomedical Research Institute is looking to hire an enthusiastic, responsible and skilled full-time Research Assistant or Research Associate. The candidate will work closely with the PI to conduct experimental projects on Tuberculosis and HIV/SIV pathogenesis in a mouse and nonhuman primate model (NHP) in the BSL3 high containment and BSL2 laboratory.
