Olgoonik is an Equal Opportunity Employer Overview: This position in located in the Analysis Division, Office of Counterintelligence, Bureau of Diplomatic Security. The analyst is responsible for producing intelligence and threat assessments for all diplomatic missions in his/her area of responsibility for circulation within the Department of State, the greater U.S. government and the intelligence community. The analyst collects, reviews, analyzes and evaluates intelligence data to identify immediate and long-term foreign intelligence threats to the U.S. government, to assess the human intelligence threat environment at U.S. diplomatic missions and to develop and monitor intelligence information relevant to his geographic area of responsibility. Analysts produce written intelligence threat reports, briefing papers, memoranda, and other documents as assigned.
