Job Type Full-Time Overview The Kim Lab, of the Omenn-Darling Bioengineering Institute & Princeton Neuroscience Institute, are hiring a postdoctoral scholar and a research technician with backgrounds in in vivo neuroscience and live imaging. Our lab is an award partner on an NIH-funded Brain Initiative project developing and validating next-generation fluorescent sensors for multiplexed imaging in the living brain. We aim to provide rigorous in vivo validation and novel biological application of these sensors in behaving mice using fiber photometry and 2-photon microscopy. This role will work on validating multi-color calcium and neuromodulator sensors, benchmarked against best-in-class tools across different brain regions and behavioral contexts, with opportunities to co-author research manuscripts and be part of a broader systems- and molecular neuroscience tool engineering and application team.
