Job Type Full-Time Overview The Krienen lab in the Princeton Neuroscience Institute (krienenlab.org) is seeking a senior research specialist. Research in the lab focuses on understanding molecular underpinnings of brain cell type diversity and the genetic influences that shape the development and evolution of the mammalian brain, with focus on human and nonhuman primates. In this position, the scientist will contribute to several funded collaborative projects aimed at (1) developing novel cell type specific viral (AAV-based) tools in nonhuman primate models and (2) producing single cell genomic (RNA-seq and ATAC-seq) datasets to understand epigenetic and transcriptomic properties of brain cell types.
