Mortgage Processor
Classification: Non-Exempt
Reports to: Mortgage Operations Team Lead
Summary/Objective
The Mortgage Processor is responsible for processing Secondary Market and Express Mortgage loans including In-House, conforming Fannie Mae Conventional, FHA, VA and USDA loans in a timely manner while keeping close communication with the Mortgage Originator throughout the entire process.
Primary Functions
Review initial disclosure packages to ensure packages were delivered timely.
Order all verification documents as required by Automated Underwriting System (AUS) – VOE, VOD, VOR, VOM, Tax Transcripts, Fraud Reports, etc.
Order case number, Certificate of Eligibility, Statement of Service and any other additional documentation as required by government agencies.
Order appraisals and final inspections as needed.
Make necessary changes to Encompass and AUS as verification documents are received.
