The Riverside County Sheriff's Office is seeking a Deputy Public Administrator to fill a vacancy within the Coroner/Public Administrator Bureau in Perris. As a Deputy Public Administrator, the incumbent will perform both office and fieldwork related to investigating and administering the estates of deceased persons. Responsibilities include probate administration, such as selling property, liquidating assets, closing accounts, managing auctions, handling taxes, and ensuring proper distribution of estate funds; appearing in court and providing testimony as needed; coordinating funeral, burial, or cremation arrangements; assisting with evictions when necessary; communicating with families; and overseeing the financial assistance program for funeral services.
