Job Purpose: A Facilities Maintenance Technician is responsible for the upkeep, repair, and maintenance of various facilities, including buildings, equipment, and grounds. Duties encompass a wide range of tasks, from inspecting equipment or the facility, to addressing emergency repairs and ensuring the safety and functionality of the facility. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Perform a broad spectrum of repairs to the inside / outside structure of a building. Repairs plumbing fixtures, pipes and pumps. Repairs structural damage to walls, windows, floors and ceiling. Inspect and service equipment, including HVAC. Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical. Identifying the root cause of malfunctions and implementing effective solutions. Communicate effectively with supervisors, colleagues, and facility personnel regarding maintenance needs and issues.
