Strategic Business Systems Job Title: Technical Writer Location: Remote Duration: 6 months Travel: Travel to customer site in Houston, TX may be requested Required: US Citizenship SBS is seeking a Technical Writer to support our customer on a 6-month contract. The Technical Writer will be a key resource for the larger technical team in producing and publishing designs, installation instructions, configuration parameters, runbooks/playbooks, and similar documents. The larger team will provide the Technical Writer with draft documents and materials. The Technical Writer will edit or adapt the provided documents into Standard Templates when available and follow consistent techniques for grammar, spelling readability and use. Will use typical tools for writing and editing technical documents – MS Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and similar tools.
