Laboratory Technician Med-Medicine - Pennsylvania-Pittsburgh - (26005973) A Laboratory Technician is needed to work on a funded research project studying bacteriophage therapy for the treatment of antibiotic-resistant infections. The Laboratory Technician will assist with screening bacterial strains for phage susceptibility, manufacturing phages for clinical use, and processing biospecimens collected from patients who receive this new therapeutic modality. Tasks will include molecular assays like qPCR, phage susceptibility testing, phage purification and testing, genomic DNA extraction, laboratory supply management and ordering, and preparation of research reports.
