Mission Cancer + Blood, part of University of Iowa Health Care is seeking applicants for Pharmacy Student Intern positions. *Located In: *Des Moines, IA *Position Responsibilities Include:* * Document and provide services consistent with established policies, procedures, regulatory, and accreditation requirements including but not limited to USP 797 and USP 800. * Sterile compounding of medications requested for clinic and infusion services. * Perform inventory maintenance activities. * Generate and/or maintain appropriate records related to Prescription & patient-specific order sterile compounding. * Perform activities involving narcotics and controlled substances. * Maintain area orderliness and perform weekly and monthly cleaning responsibilities. * Assist in on-the-job training of new technicians. * Coordinate technical activities with other members of team. * Assist pharmacist to facilitate pharmaceutical care to patients including but not limited to patient counseling,...
