Overview: In preparation for the opening of our new UF Health Durbin Park Hospital in September of 2026, we are seeking an experienced pharmacy manager to lead the efforts in finalizing the physical pharmacy space, recruiting and evaluating staff for operations, and ensuring policies and standards are developed to complete the successful opening in the Fall. Responsibilities: Reporting to the Director of Pharmacy, this role is a great opportunity for an experienced pharmacy leader who has demonstrated success in building and leading teams.  Prior experience in opening or expanding pharmacy operations in an acute care hospital setting is strongly desired.    Qualifications: A Doctor of Pharmacy degree and at least 3 years of leadership experience are required.  Unrestricted pharmacist license in the state of Florida required. A consultant pharmacist license in the state of Florida is required or must be obtained within three months of hire.

Overview: The Registered Pharmacy Technician supports the pharmacist in supplying patients with pharmaceutical products. Under supervision, the technician prepares and distributes medications and supplies, communicates pertinent information to internal and external customers, and manages inventory. Responsibilities: Assists in providing medications and pharmaceutical supplies for patients under the direct supervision of the pharmacist. Assists with medication restock in automated dispensing cabinets. Delivers drugs to patient care and other areas of the hospital as needed. Assists in the prepackaging of solid and liquid doses. Prepares unit dose medications as per computer labels and fill lists. The candidate would be responsible for calling potential candidates that pre-qualify for clinical research to schedule a screening visit. Once scheduled, the candidate duties would include using protocol and other guidelines to generate a Source Document to gather data needed for the clinical trial, per the clinical trial agreement executed between USF and the pharmaceutical company or funding agency. The candidate's duties would include performing all clinical trial activities and assessments, as allowable per ICH and FDA regulatory guidelines, to meet the requirements of the data collection needed per protocol.
