The Carpenter must have the knowledge and ability to build & set forms related to concrete foundation construction while maintaining relevant safety & quality standards. This includes, interpreting blueprints & related drawings, calculating material takeoffs from drawings, advanced layout, use of measure & level instruments, ability to use transit, provide finish carpentry work, install batter boards, use of simon forms, layout of anchor bolts, ability to tie rebar, build scaffold, set screeds, & ability to operate pneumatic and electric power tools. Read blueprints, layout, use level instruments & transits, & read tape/ruler Performs a variety of tasks involving strenuous manual labor in heavy construction projects.
