This role is directly accountable for training new commercial drivers on company policies and procedures as well as Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations, road testing, and coordinating DOT physicals and drug tests with local medical providers. This includes the development and implementation of courses and hands-on training leading towards continuous improvement of the organization. Responsibilities Conduct training in accordance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company policies and procedures. Directly coach and mentor participants on best practices on how to safely operate a CMV. Administer driving skills evaluations including road tests, backing tests, and off-highway driving courses.
